I bought this patchbay because i was having issues patching preamps and microphones to the I/Os of my converter through samson patchbays. Now i have my converter I/Os, preamps, and 2 microphones connected this XLR patchbay, so phantom power doesnt have to go through my Samson TRS patchbay. If i want to process audio with external hardware i just patch from the XLR to the TRS patchbays and vice versa! The 4 male XLR outputs on the front is what sealed the deal because i got 2 microphones and two outputs of my converter connected to them permenantly! Build quality is EXCELLENT and it looks very beautiful! 5 stars!!!
